[edit] Tagging speedies
G'day MrDrBob,
please stop tagging talkpages for speedy deletions. There are two reasons for this: one is that a blank talk page does nobody any harm, and the other is that you're giving no edit summary and marking the edits as "minor". Tagging for speedy deletion is about as major an edit as you can get, so telling everyone it's a "minor edit" is somewhat impolite. Cheers, fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 14:30, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
- Sorry, I was trying to help out with Wikipedia:List_of_blank_pages. I'll stop.--DrBob 14:31, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

- Hmm, fair enough. Looking at that article, I might actually be wrong on this one ... it's my experience that blank talkpages are just fine (sometimes people create them blank, just to avoid the red link), but if there's a concerted effort to get rid of it then there's nothing wrong with joining in. My apologies ... it'd be nice if you could start using edit summaries to describe your edits, and stop marking non-minor edits as minor, though :-). fuddlemark (fuddle me!) 14:56, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
