Mykland (village)

Mykland is a village and former municipality in Aust-Agder county, Norway.
The municipality was created by a split from Åmli in 1876. At that time Mykland had a population of 663.
On 1 January 1967 Mykland was incorporated into Froland municipality. Prior to the merger Mykland had a population of 604. On 1 January 1969 the uninhabited properties Neset and Råbudal, which had been a part of Mykland until 1967, were moved to Birkenes municipality.
