[edit] Miscellaneous comments without sections
I haven't included STM200, as I'm not sure if it's a Naoki pseudonym. Could anybody confirm? --Kamek 23:12, Aug 8, 2004 (UTC)
On name NAOKI
I think most of Naoki Maeda's work (I'm using full name here to avoid confusion) used the name NAOKI as producer, not just Eurobeat. For example, B4U, Brilliant2U, Kakumei Can someone confirm this? SYSS Mouse 15:58, 10 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- SYSS, you're right, though I wrote that with other songs in mind. It was written "used mostly in Eurobeat songs" there, but I'm changing that to "used often, though not always, in Eurobeat songs", just to clarify. --Kamek 17:13, Aug 10, 2004 (UTC)
Someone planning to do a Japanese version? SYSS Mouse 20:09, 20 Aug 2004 (UTC)
STM200 isn't Naoki. I've made this change.
Also, I noticed that :Kamek changed this to not a stub. It's still not filled with very much information about Naoki himself. Perhaps it should remain stubified? Just a thought. Ameltzer 23:21, 27 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Though this isn't a finished article, I think we already have something pretty substantial: his work, the polemics about him, a fairly complete (and explained) list of pseudonyms... that's why I took out the stub status. I don't think there's a clear line whether an article is a stub or not, but in my personal view stubs hardly ever have sections, and we already have four --Kamek 23:58, Aug 27, 2004 (UTC)
- About STM200: I just took the link out because of some wikipedia guidelines when mentioning artists. We only should link when either there's already an article or the artist really deserves an article (for example if he's already participated in other bands, or released solo albums). I kept the U1-Asami link because he works for Konami and made several songs for many games, while STM200 is only known for a single remix and isn't remembered at all in any other matter afaik.
Sounds good, I'll save thought that for a Bemani trivia wiki page, of which he probably belongs. Ameltzer 00:12, 28 Aug 2004 (UTC)
Just for the record, .3k is Sota Fujimori, not Naoki Maeda, I have made this change. --Sillybulanston 20:25, 28 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RevenG vs DE-SIRE
Since I started this article I didn't intend to include this combo as a pseudonym, as it's just a mix of two others. Just like I'm not including "NAOKI feat. Paula Terry" and any other that's just a variant.
But what do you think?
[edit] Fascination MAXX
Are we 100% certain Naoki did this song? I heard around at Bemanistyle and DDFreak that Sota Fujimori did this, and not Naoki.
[edit] Official Myspace
I would like to question to what extent "official" this Naoki Maeda Official Myspace profile is. Some sort of proof should be required.

- It was already confirmed not to be his. I removed the link since it isn't up anymore anyway.
[edit] fixed names and other changes
-Fixed most of the spelling (capitalized and properly fixed MaxX Unlimited to the correct MAXX UNLIMITED).
- Added BeForU songs
- Removed almost all of PPP entries, because he only did LOVE AGAIN high speed
- Removed the "Oni" songs that he did not make
- Added (for EXTREME) or (DDR ver.) songs
I have no clue how to add the hearts, please someone add them for LOVE SHINE and CANDY <3
- The hearts have been added now
[edit] Naoki picture
Although his identity is unknown, I think this article has gone long enough to warrants a photograph of some sort of Naoki Maeda, even if it involves digging around through Google. What does anyone else think?--WaltCip 02:39, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Gender
We are aware that at two different points Naoki is referred to as "he" and "she"?
Someone wanna fix this?
[edit] Image Tag?
there seems to be a little typo at the bottom of the psuedonyms section. It reads:
Image:20051205_02.jpg|right|150px|thumb| u1 winnig a award from mtv 2MB – Konami artist U1-ASAMi, composer of MAX. (period).
I don't know, but that sounds like it's an image tag, but I'm not very knowlegable on how to fix it. Just thought I'd point it out. OkaleVI 08:01, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Myspace again
I see that there was a Myspace account which wasn't Naoki. I stumbled upon another, I'll leave it here so maybe one of you can confirm or deny its authenticity: Unconfirmed Naoki account at Myspace--Pi (π) 23:52, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Capitalization of names
I've noticed that many pseudonyms and song names are written in uppercase, following the way they appear in the DDR games. Even someone here (sorry, you didn't sign) mentioned as corrections uppercasing those names. I checked again the Manual of Style in Wikipedia regarding capitalization, specially the "all caps" section, point 2: "Reduce track titles on albums where all tracks are in all capitals to title case." I think this is valid for this and all DDR songs appareances in Wikipedia, and the capitalization guideline also includes broader stuff, where pseudonyms fit. I think that where some items require specific capitalization (BeForU could be similar to the iPod capitalization issue), others are a result of a specific graphic design and shouldn't be all in uppercase (MAXX UNLIMITED vs. Maxx Unlimited) or partially (The Legend of MAX vs. The Legend Of Max). It's nice that some of you want to be faithful to the original game, but I think that adhering to Wikipedia's official guidelines is in order here. Right now I don't have the time to make all the fixes (here and in other articles), but I am leaving this comment here for a reference, maybe someone can fix the problems, and others don't change them back to all uppercase. Comments? --Pi (π) 00:04, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
