Natalie Babbitt

Natalie Babbitt (b. July 28, 1932 in Dayton, Ohio) is a US author and illustrator of children's books. Babbitt attended Smith College and is the author of Tuck Everlasting and The Eyes of the Amaryllis which have been made into films. Natalie Babbitt is also the author of The Search for Delicious, The Devil's Storybook, The Devil's Other Storybook and Knee-knock Rise, a Newbery Honor Book. She is also an illustrator. She has 3 children and is married to Samuel Fisher Babbitt.
Natalie Babbitt is also a board member of the National Children's Book and Literacy Alliance [1] a national not-for-profit that actively advocates for for literacy, literature, and libraries.
