National Signing Day
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
National Signing Day is the first day a high school senior can sign a binding National Letter of Intent for college football. Although there are numerous signing periods for college sports, this is the one that is most followed. It always falls on the first Wednesday in February.
Typically, nearly every player offered a scholarship will sign on National Signing Day. However, most players will have verbally (non-bindingly) committed to a school prior to this day.
