Nicola Squitti

Senator Nicola Squitti was born in July 26, 1853 in Maida, Catanzaro, died January 3, 1933, the son of Barone Tommaso Squitti Baron of Palermiti & Guarna, Calabria. His wife was Ermenegilda Assereto. He was a brother to politician Baldassarre Squitti and Maria Squitti. He had two children Eleonora Squitti who was reported to be a lady companion of Queen Margherita of Savoy, and Maria Adelaide Squitti who married, Conte Federico, Conte della Bevilacqua e di Minerbe,(their children, Eleonora Squitti (Verona 5-VI-1922-) and Felicita (Bevilaqua 30 - VI-1926), who married Giuseppe Bresa.
Nicola Squitti was a graduate of the University of Naples student of Law, and became a diplomate, Consul general of the class, March 17, 1901.
