The Northern Ranger is the name of two vessels that serve(d) the coasts of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The first vessel, the S.S. Northern Ranger, was launched in 1936, in Scotland and served the Newfoundland Railway for thirty years.

The second MV Northern Ranger is an ice-breaking ferry built in 1986, in Port Weller, Ontario. This ferry is still in service with the Newfoundland & Labrador government.
