The German melodic death metal band Novembers Fall from Neukirchen-Vluyn mixes melodic death metal, thrash metal and black metal, combined with clear vocals and undistorted guitars. They have an original style, which stands out especially through the dark atmosphere, often reflected in the lyrics.

Novembers Fall was founded in November 2003 in Neukirchen-Vluyn by Benjamin, Christian, Fabian and Jonas. On January 26, 2004, only three months after the band's formation, the first demo Shadows in the Twilight was recorded in a friend's basement. After the band's first major gig, Christian left, although the concert had received positive reviews. In the beginning of May, the band found their new drummer, Michael from Krefeld. While he was learning the band's earlier repertoire, many new songs were created and played live. The next demo was produced between March and April 2005. In October of 2005, a full-length CD called Broken Memories was recorded in the studio of the rock band Trustgame and has received a lot of positive feedback on the Internet and in print magazines. Novembers Fall's newest demo, which contained 3 new songs, was released on December 23, 2005.
