Oakdale, Iowa

Oakdale is a small Iowa community located north of Coralville and Iowa City, Iowa, and it is just south of the nearby community of North Liberty, Iowa. Oakdale is located at Latitude 41.72 & Longitude -91.62.
Oakdale is home to the Iowa Medical and Classification Center. Oakdale is also home to a research campus of the University of Iowa. This location was once a tuberculosis sanitarium.
Much of what is known as Oakdale is now within the city limits of Coralville.
