King of the Ring 2002 was the sixteenth King of the Ring professional wrestling tournament and the tenth King of the Ring pay-per-view event from World Wrestling Entertainment.
The pay-per-view event took place on June 23, 2002 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio. The official theme song for the pay-per-view was "Ride Of Your Life" by Neurotica. The tournament started on the June 3 edition of RAW and ended at the pay-per-view event. With the brand extension launched a few months earlier, the first two rounds of the the tournament featured brand exclusive matches. As from the semifinals, interpromotional matches were now possible.
This marked the last King of the Ring pay-per-view event when it was replaced the following year by Bad Blood. This also marked the last King of the Ring tournament held by WWE for four years when it was revived in 2006 as a SmackDown! exclusive tournament without the pay-per-view.

- Kurt Angle defeated Hulk Hogan (12:08)
- Angle forced Hogan to submit with a Ankle Lock.
- KOTR Final: Brock Lesnar defeated Rob Van Dam to win the King of the Ring tournament (5:42)
- Lesnar pinned RVD after an F-5.
- The Undertaker defeated Triple H to retain the WWE Undisputed Championship (23:44)
- Undertaker pinned Triple H with a roll-up.
