Ohio Virtual Academy
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA) is one of many online schools for homeschoolers. OHVA is a charter school, so it is free to the public. They are required to give you: a computer, money for your web connection, textbooks to work off of, and teacher guides for your "teacher". They cover 12 topics: math, science, art, history, literature, language skills (four elements: test readiness (practice tests), G.U.M. (grammar usage and mechanics), vocabulary, and composition), spelling, exploring music, and strategies for success (tips for taking tests). OHVA uses products from K12 INC.
