Omega 1ne is a hip-hop group based out of Baltimore, Maryland. They were founded by their leading member Mir and conspirator Tyler Durden in 2003 at College Park, Maryland while both attended the University of Maryland.
During this time, both members cultivated a sound eerily reminiscent of early to mid 1990's Hip-Hop rap music; mostly a hybrid of an underground (see: Pharcyde, A Tribe Called Quest) sounding beats, with lyrics more on par with a Nas or Boot Camp Click.
They have since released a group album in 2005 entitled "Winter Woetry" which has gotten radio airplay around the Washington D.C. area, primarily on WMUC 88.1.
The group currently consists of Mir, Tyler Durden, Beyond Z, Shi Town, KhaMillion, and Dj RuB-!sH. Former members include BADmcs.
They are currently working on a second album, tentatively titled "The End is only the beginning," while continually pursuing solo ventures.
