OVERsteer magazine
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
OVERsteer Magazine is an online motoring magazine/website aimed at women, which was launched in January 2006.
OVERsteer's writers all met in TopGearTotty (http://community.livejournal.com/topgeartotty/profile) which was created by Top Gear fan Eleanor Carley, after herself and her fellow fans wanted somewhere to go and chat and squee and have pun wars and indulge in intellectual snobbery as well as dreaming about cars...James May...cars...James May in cars...
This little fangroup was rather chuffed when their site was added to the BBC TWO Top Gear page:

Charlene Price, a bright young thing from Kent, had a vision one night. Instead of allowing a motoring magazine for women be born that was patronising and clearly aimed at the Chantelles of this world, why not create one themselves?
Two words. They did. They have a whole batch of fantastic and witty writers, all female and all at different stages in their driving careers, which is a fresh idea in itself.
