Oxydol
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Oxydol is the name of a laundry detergent sold in the United States. It was created in 1927 and manufactured by Procter & Gamble, who sold the brand in 2000 to Redox Brands, a marketing company founded by former Procter & Gamble employees.
In the 1930's, Oxydol was the sponsor of the Ma Perkins radio show, considered the first soap opera.
In the Konami video game Silent Hill 3, in order to solve one of the puzzles, the main character of the game had to combine Oxydol with Pork Liver and ignite the resulting mixture with a match.
