Pandego
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A pandego is an artistic collaboration licensed under an open-content (copyleft) licence. Wikipedia.org itself is an (extremely large) example of a pandego.
While Wikipedia is licensed under the GNU FDL, most pandegos are usually licensed under the Creative Commons attibution, share alike (by-sa) licence, although the term refers to any copylefted internet project that ultimately serves the common good.
There has been some debate as to whether pandego refers only to online artistic creations or whether the word includes large copylefted communal creations in the physical plane as well. This confusion likely arises because most pandegos are online and the open-content movement is still in its infancy.
