Paolo De Ceglie (born 17 September 1986 in Aosta) is an Italian footballer. Who as of 2006 plays for Juventus in Serie B. His height is 1.84 meters and he weighs 75kg.

De Ceglie is seen by some as the potential heir to Pavel Nedvěd's position at Juve, when the Czech Republic international retires. He has been with the club since December 2004.[2]

He has played in various youth competitions for Juve, including the Campionato Primavera and Coppa Italia Primavera. In 2006, De Ceglie scored a hat-trick in Juventus' 5-1 defeat of bitter rivals Inter Milan for the Super Coppa Primavera.
After winning he was quoted as saying; "I’m over the moon we’ve won this cup! We just missed out a couple of years ago and today we were very deserved winners. Having been admitted into the first team squad has helped me grow as a player and it couldn’t be any other way; you can’t help improving when you train with so many champions".[3]

De Ceglie made his senior team debut on November 6, 2006 for Juventus against S.S.C. Napoli, he came on as a substitute for Nicola Legrottaglie after 55 minutes, the game eventually finished 1-1. His first ever senior team goal came in his second game, as Juventus beat Lecce 4-1.

He made his U-21 team debut against Luxembourg U-21, 12 December 2006, replacing Arturo Lupoli in 62 min.
