[edit] Editing versus vandalism
I've reverted to an earlier version to undo the deletion of content that is of great interest to a large number of Sharma's readers. The descriptions are review quotes etc, and references can be added.
I'm quite aware of the importance of maintaining a NPOV but this can be obtained through careful editing without destroying information.
Buckles's deletion is nothing more than over-zealous vandalism. Edit, re-word but don't needlesly destroy.--Kastellan 11:01, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

I've copyedited some of this article and removed obvious violations of WP:NPOV from the beginning. Here's an example:
- "A gifted writer, Sharma covers a wide range of subjects and perspectives, and as a master craftsman delivers intricate ideas simply. Like Mahatma Gandhi, the subject of one of Sharma’s most applauded plays “Sammy!” Sharma found that uncovering the truth was not always popular."
I've tagged the works section as another violation of WP:NPOV. Here is some of the text:
- "An enchanting story about what we all value and seek in life – love, trust, friendship and peace."
- "a good, old fashioned, refreshing story book "
- "Interestingly enough, now, twenty years later, this book provides a fascinating insight into the mind of terrorists."
If these sections could be rewritten, we might be able to salvage this content; as they are I don't think they're fit for the encyclopedia. MarkBuckles (talk) 00:41, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
