[edit] Drug bust
On January 3, 2007, a sting operation was conducted at both Patrick Henry High School and University City High School. In all, 15 students were arrested for selling drugs to an undercover officer who was posing as a student first semester. From the two schools, undercover officers bought a total of 6.3 grams of marijuana, 5 ecstasy pills, 6.4 grams of mushrooms, and 12 prescription pain pills. Two of the students arrested from Patrick Henry are 18 and will be tried as adults. The recent drug sting and a new drug sniffing dog on campus are the result of an increase in drug use by students attending the school. Full story at SignOnSanDiego.com
