Patrician Vetinari was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He has lived in Toronto's West End for his entire life and is currently attending Ursula Franklin Academy, a high school in the High Park area.

I am quite interested in politics and plan on majoring in either Political Science or Law. My idol is Niccolò Machiavelli; make of this what you will. To my friends, I am known as "El Presidente" (which they started to call me after I received a hat similar to that of Fidel Castro, a hat that I now wear regularly). Furthermore, I hope to some day rule the world and institute a New World Order, an Order that is already being meticulously planned out. I am, lastly, an atheist and a socialist.

As stated above, my idol is Niccolo Machiavelli, an ambitious and brilliant man from sixteenth-century Italy. I aspire to have as great a grasp of human nature as he did. I have, in the past, been likened to:
- Fidel Castro, the ruler of Cuba who has remained in power for nearly fifty years and outlived no less than nine American administrations and over 600 CIA-engineered assassination attempts,
- Lord Havelock Vetinari, a fictional leader, master manipulator, and the most brilliant character to ever grace the pages of any book,
- and Mithos Yggdrasill, a fictional angel who was able to successfully control and manipulate multiple opposing forces for thousands of years.
