[edit] Aguilar, McIntyre, and ASP
Hi there, Perspixx, me again, Rockero. I just want to say thanks for writing the articles on Marcos Aguilar and Academia Semillas del Pueblo, and for expanding the article on Doug McIntyre (as per my request I presume?) I also want to say that for a newcomer, you have done remarkably well at avoiding POV statements in those articles. Please keep up the good work.
I see you have found a crusade. Don't expect it to go smoothly. There is not yet a consensus on what term to use as there is no centralized dialogue about it --just a lot of debate on a lot of different talkpages. As much as I favor a standardized language for encyclopedia articles, the immigration issue is close to my heart. Personally, I am willing to begrudge the use of the term "illegal". However, I tend to believe that instead of using a single term in every instance, we should allow for some lexical flexibility allow for greater precision in in order to account for the nuances in individual situations.
I think we should probably get the interested parties involved and see if we can come to some consensus. Until then, you may want to go easy where you find opposition to your changes, stay calm, and always assume good faith. Thanks again, --Rockero 05:24, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Cudahy, California
Cudahy is dominated by the 18th Street gang. The city has not had a competitive municipal election since 1999, and is operated essentially as a dictatorship by City Manager George Perez. Cudahy has a history of having corrupt politicians and police. [1]
- Your addition to Cudahy, California is biased and not WP:NPOV and just because it has a reference does not make it appropriate to include in the article. If you would like to make a reference to the article without making biased statements about the city, I will not object, but I will not accept your paragraph as it is written.
