Peter Martin Hoekstra (born April 4, 1973 in Assen, Drenthe) is a former football winger from The Netherlands, who earned five caps for the Netherlands national football team, in which he didn't score. He was a member of the Dutch team at Euro 1996 in England under manager Guus Hiddink.
Hoekstra made his debut for Holland on April 24, 1996, in a friendly against Germany (0-1) in Rotterdam. He played for PSV Eindhoven (1991-95), Ajax Amsterdam (1996-99), SD Compostela (on loan 2000), Ajax (2000), FC Groningen (2001), and Stoke City (2001-04). Hoekstra was transferred to Stoke City on a three year contract from Ajax for an undisclosed fee on July 20, 2001. He ended his career in 2004.
