Pirooz Kalayeh

Pirooz M. Kalayeh is an Iranian American artist and musician. A graduate of the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University, he has been published in the anthology, Looking Back (New Brighton Books, 2003)(ISBN 0971837740). His work has also appeared in Spire Press, American Drivel Review, Feed Me Seymour, Ducts, and Ellipsis. His comic book Golden Ashtray (ISBN 1411656458) recounts the author's adventures living in Los Angeles. His musical group, The Slipshod Swingers, are working on their fourth record in Seoul, South Korea.
