DVD screen capture of the opening titles of the BBC television drama anthology series Play for Today.

The article is about a television programme, and as such is almost impossible to illustrate without using images from the programme concerned.

The programme is a major, high-profile example of BBC television drama and British television in general. It is thus an important topic on which to have a Wikipedia article, and one deserving of illustration.

As the series was an anthology programme, an image from any one production would not serve for a general overview of the series, but a still of the opening titles, which were present on all editions, does.

The image is used for educational and informational purposes only, and is not believed to detract from the production in any way.
