Poggioreale-Zona Industriale is a neighbourhood of Naples, southern Italy. It is at the extreme east end of the city and includes the areas of the central train station, the vast new Civic Center, the adjacent Pioggioreale prison, and the industrial section to the east. The area was heavily bombed in WWII and certains part of the area still show the scars of bombing. The presence of the new Civic Center is an attempt to rehabilitate the area from its general decayed appearance.
