Pohénégamook, Quebec

Pohenegamook, Quebec (pop. 3097) is a border town in the Témiscouata Regional County Municipality, Quebec in the province of Quebec. It shares the border with Estcourt Station, Maine. As 2001, there were 3097 people, 97% of them were white, 1% First Nation, 0.3% Black and 0.3% Asian, 1.4% other.
It is famous for its lake (Lake Pohenegamook), that is said to hide a monster named Ponik.
