Point Horror

Point Horror was a huge series of YA horror fiction, written by many well-known American authors such as R. L. Stine, Caroline B. Cooney, Diane Hoh, Carol Ellis, Auline Bates, Lael Littke, Barbara Steiner, D. E. Athkins, Sinclair Smith and Richie Tankersley Cusick. The Point Horror series became increasingly popular in the mid nineties in the UK. The complete Nightmare Hall collection by Diane Hoh is very sought after in the UK as the last few books in the series were not released there. The Forbidden Game Trilogy by L. J. Smith, too is extremely sought after in the UK

More recently, another series of books have been released, entitled Point Horror Unleashed, written by British authors like Celia Rees and Andrew Matthews.

In 2003, new Point Horror books were released, including The Unseen by Richie Tankersley Cusick, The Dark by Linda Cargill, X-Isle by Peter Lerangis and Demon by Samantha Lee.
