Anonymous user 69.108.99.140 has removed the Setting section out of the main Pokémon article[1]. Understandable. But I liked it so much I've moved it to this article. Cheers, Face 18:45, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Stadium Island?

Has anyone ever made a Pokemon World map? We know where the regions are, but it would be easy to get a map. The pokemon regions are "Kanto East and Johto West as one continent near the center, Orre a little above that, Sinnoh far North of that, and Hoenn South West of that." Is that right? I can't remember where Fiore is, and the Island Regions are just out there near Kanto and Johto.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.224.11.172 (talk • contribs).

- Kanto is Kantō, Johto is Kansai, the Sevii Islands are the Izu and Bonin Islands, Hoenn is Kyūshū, and Sinnoh is Hokkaidō. Just look at a map of Japan and use your imagination, there's very little coastline difference. And just assume the routes that are missing in the games lead to other regions. :|—ウルタプ 01:22, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

- We're not really sure. The Orange Islands are presumed to be based on the island chains off Tokyo, but so are the Sevii Islands. And as far as I know, we have absolutely no idea of Fiore since its location relative to other regions isn't given.—ウルタプ 00:36, 17 February 2007 (UTC)

- I remember something in the Manaphy Egg mission, where they suggested that it could be hatched in eitiher a warmer or colder region. If I could remember what they said, we could determine where Fiore might be, since it is supposed to go to a Trainer in Sinnoh. At any rate, it would have to be somewhere near to Sinnoh, as that is apparently the only region they give as a possibility. - MasterXiam 14:55, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

- The only thing we know is that Sinnoh's oceans are warmer than Fiore's. But we can't just say north or south based on that. I mean, the ocean off California is pretty cold.—ウルタプ 17:12, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
