Talk:Poster
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Eloquence, I assume that poster was chosen entirely because it is particularly illustrative of the concept of "poster", and had nothing to do with the specific nature of the content? :) --Robert Merkel 03:29 11 Jul 2003 (UTC)
There's a usage I see referring to presentations at conferences that probably deserves a separate entry. --robotwisdom 16:08, 8 Mar 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Exhibition Disambiguation
There was a link to the disambiguation page, which I have changed to "art exhibition". This may be wrong as I have no idea what a colonial exhibition is to be honest. If something else suits it better, please correct to the right page. If nothing does, please dlete the link. Thanks in advance. LeeG 18:21, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Motivational Posters
Does anybody know who came up with the trend of motivational posters and how to add things in the main page Here are some links to several motivational posters [1] as well as a generator for them [2]
[edit] to do
this article needs:
- more on poster printing techniques and paper types
- a better conference poster picture & a picture of a wall with movie or music posters
- a section on poster collecting
- types of posters grouped logically
- better history and references

[edit] merge
I suggest a merge from poster art, which has some useful information but also duplicates this article in part. --phoebe 23:50, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
