Premiere Cinemas

Premiere Cinemas is a movie theater chain based in Bryan, TX that operates most of its theaters in Texas, but also contains operations in Alabama and Florida. The movie theater chain is known for its signature high-back reclining rocking love seats and its hospitality. The chain's CEO is Gary Moore.

Premiere's theaters feature reclining love seats, Rico's popcorn, Dippin Dots and usually contain visually stunning entrances to most of their theaters (most of which are in malls) [1]. Some theaters also contain a gourmet concession stand. Most theaters contain less than 16 or 12 screens but a new one in El Paso, TX will have 18 [2]. As of April 13, 2007, the company will own and operate 14 theaters in three states [3].

Premiere's newest theater is currently under construction in El Paso, TX and will feature 18 screens with the company's signature love seats, Dippin Dots and all stadium seating [4]. It will anchor the Bassett Place mall, after a United Artists closed there in 2000. The cinema is scheduled for completion April 13, 2007.

The chain features a rewards card that can be bought in increments of $10 (along with a one-time $1 activation fee) and can be used at their concession stand and also to buy tickets [5].
