[edit] Plot summary
Gracie is a teenage girl who, unlike most other girls, has frequent visions of the past, present, and future, as weall as strange feelings, smells, or tastes. For instance, Gracie smelled oranges and tasted blood all day on the date of her mother's death, which was later revealed to be caused when she collided with a semi truck full of oranges. She died because she choked on her own blood. After her mother's death, Gracie moves into the home of her aunt Shay and cousin Diego. The only new friend that Gracie encounters is a girl named Emily, who has just recently abandoned all of her friends. One day, Emily mysteriously disappears. Immediately after, Gracie begins having unusual visions in the course of random activities, such as envisioning a burning cube. She starts to use these visions as clues to unravel the mystery behind Emily's and other disappearances. Her visions lead her into the hands of the antagonistic IT billionaire Jonah Castle, who is trying to relive his troubled past by kidnapping children and teenagers and pretending they are his family. In the end, Gracie, along with the other children she meets in this secret house Jonah had created, all the children Escape and the oldest children become famous, just as Gracie had predicted.
