Pueblo Grande de Nevada

Pueblo Grande de Nevada, a complex of villages, is located near Overton, Nevada and are listed on the United States National Register of Historic Places.[1] The site, also know as Nevada's "Lost City", was occupied by the Anasazi and other tribes between 100 AD and 1150 AD [2] and shows shows signs of occupation as early as 8,000 BC.
Artifacts from the site are housed in The Lost City Museum.

In 1827, Jebediah Smith found various artifacts while exploring in the area. [3]
Mark Harrington was the first archaeologist to excavate at the site in 1924.[4]
The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on October 8, 1982.[5]
