Puyallup School District

Puyallup School District is a school district that supports the City of Puyallup, Washington and surrounding area. It is the 9th largest school district in Washington. The District has twenty-one elementary schools, six junior high schools, three senior high schools and an alternative school, together which serve over 20,000 students. The District employs approximately 1,330 certificated and 850 classified staff and 300 substitute personnel.
The current Superintendent of the Puyallup School District is Tony Apostle. He became superintendent in July 2004. Prior to being appointed Superintendent, Dr. Apostle was the Executive Director of Administrative Services in the Puyallup School District.
