Quintessa (fictional planet)

Quintessa is a fictional planet in the Transformers universe. It is the home-world of the Quintessons, an artificial world created after they were defeated by the Transformers and banished from Cybertron. They lived there with their slaves, the Sharkticons. Quintessa is a cybernetic world inhabited by numerous cyborg creations, lethal monsters which lived lives of indiscriminate killing.

Quintessa had a metallic surface, and at least one body of water. Native aquatic flora and fauna included large seaweed plants, robotic fish and squid, while the surface of the planet was inhabited by Sharkticons, Quintessons, and a number of robotic bipeds.
Aliens captured on Quintessa stood trial in front of a Quintesson imperial magistrate. Prisoners were sentenced to be fed to the Sharkticons, regardless of whether the verdict was guilty or innocent.
The Quintessons destroyed Quintessa in a failed attempt to kill Ultra Magnus and some of the Autobots. Subsequently, the Quintessons began to wander the universe in spaceships.
The Autobot boy Wheelie lived on Quintessa for many years until rescued by Hot Rod, Kup and the Dinobots in the year 2005.
