Mr. Whiskers and Brandy are at their house talking about Mr. Whiskers unfortunate unpopularity, in which Brandy expresses that one is born with popularity, it isn't something that can be gained by anyone. Mr. Whiskers is upset by this because he wishes to have more friends and when Cheryl, Meryl, Lola Boa and Margo come to ask Brandy to come hang out with them, she decides to go hang out with all of them, with the exception of Mr. Whiskers, in which Mr. Whiskers becomes saddened and he goes outside to think later that night. However, when a meteor is seen falling in the night sky, Mr. Whiskers panics and he begins to run around in circles, though the meteor eventually whittles away into a tiny fragment, in which Mr. Whiskers inadvertently swallows a small portion of the meteorite, which causes Mr. Whiskers to suddenly hear music when he opened his mouth, which causes him to become bewildered as he rushes to Brandy to try to figure out what has occurred. Brandy is hanging out with her friends discussing what they will do tomorrow, in which Mr. Whiskers then rushes in and shows her what he can do. However, before Brandy gets a word in, Margo, Cheryl, Meryl and Lola are very pleased with the music that is playing, in which Brandy eventually tells him that it’s just freaky and weird, though her friends agree but state that they also think it’s cool, in which they request he keep playing the music. Mr. Whiskers then goes outside and he enjoys his new popularity, they go to the watering hole and Margo gets him to play some music, in which he does, much to the delight of all the animals. Mr. Whiskers then spends the rest of they day partying with animals and taking requests, such as letting Gaspar listen to a political talk show that talked about the Amazon amongst other issues. Mr. Whiskers then returns home after a long night of partying, which Brandy doesn't like because she realizes the radio is what is making him popular and that people are just using him. Mr. Whiskers disagrees, though when an animal wakes him up before he even gets to sleep and drags him out so that he can have music to help him work out; Mr. Whiskers starts to get frustrated. Lola Boa then steals Mr. Whiskers, which then Cheryl and Meryl steal him, in which then causes some Flamingo’s to steal him, which then Gaspar steals him. After Gaspar gets a hold of Mr. Whiskers, they all fight over whom manages to keep him, which then Brandy comes swinging in on a vine and she rescues Mr. Whiskers, though she is constantly being chased by the other jungle denizens who want to use Mr. Whiskers as a radio. Eventually, Brandy and Mr. Whiskers get into a cave in which Brandy expresses she likes Mr. Whiskers for whom he is and she would never use a friend like they would and Mr. Whiskers realizes that they were actually using him. However, when it turns out Mr. Whiskers could also work as a two way radio, in which an individual is speaking through Mr. Whiskers, Brandy grabs him and explains her circumstances. The individual expresses that they are breaking apart and Brandy needs to reach higher grounds to ensure the connection stays strong, so she eventually climbs a volcano and hangs Mr. Whiskers right over the pit of the volcano. The individual explains that the rescue chopper is on it’s way to their location but Mr. Whiskers expresses that he needs to use the restroom, Brandy decides to let him do such on the condition that he hurry. However, when the meteorite piece exits Mr. Whiskers’ body through a natural process, the rescue helicopter moves right past the volcano, in which Brandy is very frustrated and saddened. Mr. Whiskers explains what happened and Brandy begins to twitch slightly and she calmly expresses that she will be Mr. Whiskers friend still, though she then makes a blunt statement saying that she will be only if he eats that meteorite again. Mr. Whiskers rejects her proposal and he walks off saying that he wont even do that for friendship, and the episode ends with Brandy chasing after Mr. Whiskers in a confused and angry emotional state.
