Rahija

Rahija (Urdu: رÛیجا) is a clan of Baloch tribe Bugti (Urdu: بگتی) and is settled in Balochistan, Sindh and Punjab provinces of Pakistan. The Legendary hero of baloch history Late Sardar Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti also belong to Rahija clan.
Rahijas or Rahejas in India are Sindhi as well as Punjabi Hindu and Sikhs. The Punjabi Rahejas are Khatris and originally belonged to West Punjab now in Pakistan . Rahejas migrated to India in 1947 during the partition of India. After the advent of Islam in the sub continent some Rahejas were converted to Islam. .
