Rainey Old Boys Rugby Club. Situated in the market town of Magherafelt, County Londonderry. They are one of the twelve current Senior Rugby Union clubs in Ulster, Ireland. Rainey Old Boys currently compete in All Ireland Division 3. Previous honours include:
Ulster Town's Cup: 1974 Ballymena II 23-6 Magherafelt, 1976 Ballyclare 19-6 Magherafelt, 1983 Magherafelt 9-0 Coleraine, 1985 Lisburn 12-6 Magherafelt, 1986 Ballyclare 18-4 Magherafelt, 1994 Ballymena II 24-10 Magherafelt, 2001 Magherafelt 57-31 Omagh, 2005 Ballymena II 23-18 Magherafelt
Ulster Junior Cup: 1976 Rainey Old Boys 9-0 NIFC II, 1979 Rainey Old Boys 10-6 Malone II, 1986 Coleraine 6-3 Rainey Old Boys
They have also won the Past Players Cup, All Ireland Junior Cup (2005-06), champions for the previous two seasons of Ulster Division 1 (2004-05 & 2005-06) and qualified for All Ireland Division 3 by winning the Round Robin Cup against the championship winning teams from; Leinster, Munster and Connaught.
At present they field 4 senior teams, Under 20s (The Rhinos), Under 18s, Under 16s, Under 14s and a Ladies team (The Cheetahs).
