Remme Brothers Band, is a white, electric, blues-rock group consisting of six men from the Drammen-Lier area in Buskerud, Norway. Based around the two Remme brothers from Lier, Henning and Øistein (both plays guitars), the name is clearly a pun on Allman Brothers Band. With them is several musicians from Drammen, Hallingdal and elsewhere. Formed in 2004 these guys are the core of the professional blues scene in the district. In October 2005 they released a CD receiving good reviews everywhere. The reviews compare them with southern rock from the 70s, but this is not true. Musically they're much closer to Johnny Winter and George Thorogood. Constant touring has got them a bigger audience, and as late as March 2006 they were playing in Oslo.
