Renwick Brook Park

Renwick Brook Park is located in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, Canada and is the name of the valley and brook which starts at the Commercial Street bridge and ends in a swamp near Tower Road. Cameron Bowl baseball field is located in this valley near Renwick Brook. This brook separates Glace Bay into two sides. On the south side, Brookside Street runs parallel to Renwick Brook and Catherine Street runs parallel to the brook on the north side. Catherine Street ends at Queen Elizabeth Park which is adjacent to Cameron Bowl. The Renwick Brook is bridged three times at Commercial Street, Park Street, and Dominion Street. Around the brook is a walking trail and several walking bridges. It is home to many species of birds, especially waterfowl. Many duck species are found here such as Mallards, American Black Ducks, Eiders, and Wigeons. Other birds such as pigeons and seagulls are also frequently spotted in the area.
