RichM90071 in a nutshell
|
User page for RichM90071.
I'm putting myself up for adoption. This is more complicated than I thought it would be and I'm finding all a little intimidating. Update: Anthony.bradbury has kindly accepted my request for adoption.
Trying out these User Box things. Yay, looks like I finally got it right. These user box things are addictive. I've even started creating my own /Userboxes. Making userboxes is a good way to practice Wiki markup.

[edit] Current Projects
Information about more-or-less complete projects is being moved to the /R-chives
Articles needing Cleanup: Fairly major edits on Sri and Juiced 2.
[edit] Samurai Cat
Main article from NeoFreak's list. Research Notability: If notable, suggest for wikiproject Cats in fiction or whatever it is. Update — already been done, see talk page. I could swear that wasn't there last time I looked.
Google search results on "Samurai Cat" and "Mark E. Rogers": Everything2: 2 posts not especially notable. Internet Book List: no comments. Didn't find much "notability." Added a note on NeoFreak's talk page.
Discussion with User:NeoFreak: User talk:NeoFreak#Mark E. Rogers and Samurai Cat, User_talk:RichM90071#Your Notability concerns.
Trying to find sales figures as per NeoFreak's advice. Google search was not promising; tentative results indicate I might have to pay for the information, which I'm disinclined to do if I'm not getting paid for it. Harry Potter (statistics) gives sales figures but does not site a source for most of them. Those that are sourced come from newspaper articles.
Possible online sources:. Author's official site. Fan sites: LibraryThing apparently an online book club, The Samurai Cat Page. Locus Magazine index. IMDB. AnimeCons.com mostly a list of con appearances. Internet Book List has book synopses.
Requested help from User:Serpent's Choice, User:GreenReaper, and User:Conti per NeoFreak's advice.
The author's website doesn't list any awards. Looks like I'm down to checking individual publications for reviews.
[edit] Tom Sawyer
Tom Sawyer, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer: should probably have one of those boxes at the bottom of the page they use for novel series. Stub-length article on an American classic needs expansion. Should be plenty of secondary sources.
[edit] Michael Moorcock
The red-linked books in Michael Moorcock#Works are probably notable enough to have their own articles.

Dev920 lots of div
and table thingies
DoomsDay349 The white on black color scheme may be appropriate for the username, but not to my taste. Useful links to Wikipolicy.
Ed User is 13 years old?
A. Exeunt Code for displaying User Boxes correctly.
MiraLuka seems to be source of some userboxes
Kevin Murray Lots of User Boxes. Noticed links at the bottom of the page where you can get the templates for the User Boxes. Seems like the links should be on the box itself somewhere. Maybe I'm dense.
NinaOdell NavFrames. When I figure out how, some of this stuff may go in subpages, with NavFrame links from this page.
NeoFreak Lots of well-behaved user boxes, may swipe some.
RichM90071 A Self link. Not sure what purpose this serves.
