Robert Benayoun

Robert Benayoun (1926 - 1996) was a French film critic and author, one time member of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival of 1980. He wrote books on Tex Avery, Woody Allen, Buster Keaton and the Marx Brothers.
He who wrote screenplays for and directed three films. Benayoun was one of comedian Jerry Lewis' greatest supporters and directed a film about him called Bonjour Mr. Lewis.

In Robert Benayoun's Paris n'existe pas, an artist (Richard Leduc) develops the ability to see into the future and the past after smoking dope at a party. When he returns to his apartment where he sees the vision of a woman who had lived there 30 years ago. His new powers increase with time.
