Robert J. Baker

The Most Rev. Robert J. Baker, STD (b. June 4, 1944 Willard, Ohio) is an American Catholic prelate currently serving as the 12th Bishop of the Diocese of Charleston. He was appointed to this post by His Holiness Pope John Paul II on July 12, 1999 and installed as such on September 29, 1999. The principal consecrator of Bishop Baker was The Most Rev. John Francis Donoghue, Archbishop of Atlanta. He has wirtten several books.
