Roberts Cycles

Roberts Cycles is a custom framebuilder and bicycle manufacturer located in Selhurst near Croydon, South London.
Beginning soon after World War II, Charlie Roberts started working as a frame-builder for some of the great names in British bicycles - Holdsworth, Claude Butler and Freddie Grubb. In the early 1960s, Charlie finally branched out on his own and started up Roberts Cycles in Croydon. Not long after, Charlie was joined in the workshop by his then teenage son Chas. In 1979, Charlie died and Chas took over at the helm.
Roberts Cycles has developed a reputation as British bespoke bicycle producers, specializing in high-quality steel frames, and build bikes particularly suited to the typically smaller stature of female cyclists.
