Di Matteo actually cost Chelsea 4.9 million, not 4.5 million as stated. The article might be confusing Di Matteo's transfer fee with Zola, who cost 4.5 million. It is true that at the time Di Matteo's 4.9 million transfer fee was a club record. BoDiddley
