Robert began his career in business after graduating in 1994 from West Palm Beach-based Palm Beach Atlantic University with a degree in International Business and Communications.
Robert started his own marketing products and advertising firm and built it into a successful business.
Eager for a new challenge, Robert joined West Palm Beach-based Telegraph New Technologies in the late 90's where he managed the accounts for clients such as Rexall-Sundown, Motorola and PGA National Resort and Spa. Robert also utilized his background in advertising and marketing to create the online advertising and marketing division of Telegraph.
After the sale of Telegraph in 1999, Robert co-founded Forte Interactive (www.forteinteractive.com)
Serving both the non-profit and business community, his company develops web-based software solutions for clients like the United Way of PBC, Implant Innovations, Krain Lawn Irrigation Systems, SEFLIN (South Florida Library Information Network), The Kravis Center, The Gardens Mall and Florida Crystals, among others.
Robert lives in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Robert also devotes his life to volunteerism and philanthropic activities. He is a graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County, a United Way Young Leader, Board member of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Alumni Board Member of Palm Beach Atlantic University.
140.6 Besides his community involvement, Robert is an avid endurance athlete. He is a veteran of 8 marathons as well as Ironman Triathlon. After a year off due to injury Rob has rebounded to successfully complete his last two marathons within four weeks of each other - the New York City Marathon and the Marathon of the Palm Beaches, both in Fall of 2005. Robert also just successfully completed his 2nd Ironman in July 2006 at Ironman USA in Lake Placid, New York. His next big solo event. Ironman World Championchip in Kona, Hawaii in October 2007.
What does 140.6 mean? That is the full distance of an Ironman Event. Swim 2.4 miles, Bike 112 miles and run a marathon (26.2 miles). These occur non-stop in that order. Is it your turn yet?
WHY? Robert uses these events for a bigger purpose: to increase awareness and raise money for charity. His first significant endeavor was a $50,000 challenge grant to the Dana-Farber Cancer Insitute [view press release]. The second challenge grant was awarded to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for $25,000 in January 2005.
These are the first steps in Robert’s vision to help build better communities through the challenges and triumphs of sport and philanthropy. Robert recently established the “Pursuit of Life Foundation”, whose mission is to raise funds for cancer research through sport, challenge grants and a feature film project.
In April 2007 Rob's TEAM POL will be running down the East Coast beginning is participation in the Boston Marathon on April 16. Our team ends on April 29 in West Palm Beach. www.PursuitofLife.org

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society As a part of the TNT program, Robert completed four events with TNT raising over $10,000. He has joined thousands of others nationwide in raising funds through endurance fundraising events, such as marathons and triathlons. City of West Palm Beach Communications Advisory Committee Robert was appointed to this committee formed in November 2004. He was tapped for his valuable advice and recommendations because of his expertise in both technology and the downtown business community. This committee is governed by the state of Florida's public records and Sunshine Law.
Leadership West Palm Beach The mission of Leadership West Palm Beach is to cultivate the leadership potential of those individuals who reside or work in the City of West Palm Beach and utilize their skills to foster the development of programs and opportunities that would enrich and improve the quality of life in the City. Robert graduated from this year-long program in June 2001.
