Talk:Rocky Mountain College
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Looks like Rocky is pulling out of the tailspin. With Mike Mace accepting the permanent position of president, there's now a chance for this fine college. While Mace has done much to put out the fires, there now remains the work of restoration to be done. The destruction worked at the hands of the previous president (and his cronies) is considerable. Not only in terms of finances, but in reputation and with the anchient relationships the college has had with the community and its members.
It's more than a little amazing that someone like Mace would let the minions of the former president keep their jobs, but maybe he has a plan for them. Jon Phillips isn't VP of finance any more, so maybe that's a start. Janine Pease needs to go. Her only real responsibility is to just be Indian. Kind of an expensive piece of window dressing. There's still a lot of trash to be put to the curb there, but the big thing was to keep the banks from foreclosing on the joint.
It is unfortunate that racist remarks should enter this discussion page. Rocky Mountain College does not support -- does not tolerate discrimination in any form from any source, whether it be from student, faculty, staff, board member, or supporter.
