EXPIRA-CORE
A movement started in the year of 2005-2006 with the release of a local Raleigh, North Carolina band called How Far We've Fallen[1].
Although, the genre is called Expira-core because of its use of expiremental vocal stylings and also somewhat of a noise-rock flame during the hooks of the songs-there is a close relations between post-punk and expira-core bands. Some bands that could be considered early expiracore bands are Faith No More, Deftones. The genre is currently replacing alot of the screamo bands and also pop punk bands while giving the listener a very wild imaginative range to listen to.
