Roger Gillen

Roger Gillen is an Irish singer from Sligo. Roger grew up in the Hazelwood, on the north shore of Lough Gill in Co. Sligo. In 1980 Roger auditioned for The National Talent Search of Ireland which he went onto win. On a Saturday night in April 1981 the contests final was broadcast live in Ireland on Gay Byrne's Late Late Show on Irelands national television station RTE. He has had great success with his show Loves Pure Light in New York where he has lived for many years. He has recently released a cd/dvd set entitled Loves Pure Light. He also recently made a return appearance to the Late Late Show where he sang Jubilee.
