Roman Catholicism in Denmark

The Roman Catholic Church in Denmark is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church, under the spiritual leadership of the Pope and curia in Rome.
The number of Catholics in Denmark, a predominantly Protestant country, comprises less than 1% of the population. The Diocese of Copenhagen covers the whole of the country, together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland, and as such is the largest Catholic diocese by area in the world. There is a cathedral in Copenhagen dedicated to St. Ansgar. The Bishop of Copenhagen, Czeslaw Kozon, participates in the Scandinavian Bishops Conference.
