Ross Overbeek

Ross Overbeek is an American Computer Scientist.
He grew up in Traverse City, Michigan where he struck up a lifelong friendship with R. W. Bradford, publisher of the libertarian periodical Liberty.
From 1971 to the early 1980s, he was a computer science professor at Northern Illinois University.
Then he began at the Argonne National Laboratory, working on Automated theorem proving.
With Michael Fonstein, Yakov Kogan, Andrei Osterman and Veronika Vonstein he founded the Fellowship for Interpretation of Genomes in 2003. [1]
