Talk:Roshi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
- Among zen students in the West, the term has been associated with controversy and scandal, where several well-known 'roshis' have been accused of abusing their role, or, alternatively, zen students have been too naive and guilty of uncritical psychological projection [1].
This can't go in there without material to counter it, as the article given as a ref is extremely anti-zen. Also, it doesn't give examples past one guy: Baker. And there needs to be established why one man's actions merits an incrimination of an entire idea. Also: these are human beings, and they make human mistakes.
This needs to have counter-viewpoints added to balance it before it can be put back (IMHO). --DanielCD 20:52, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
